The Seminole Burgee :
The Seminole Power Squadron pendant consist of the head of Chief Osceola with seven feathers in red facing aft to threelightning bolts in blue on a white background. Osceola is the most famous of the Seminole Indian Chiefs, from whence comes the name of Seminole County,Florida and the designation of our squadron. The lightning bolts representthe common occurrence of severe electrical storms along the St. John'sRiver which forms the eastern boundry of Seminole County. The seven featherson Chief Osceola's head and the three bolts of lightning indicate '73',the year we became a full fledged squadron of the USPS® and assignedto District 23. Seminole Power Squadron was chartered as the 424th squadronof USPS® on June 14, 1973.

Become an internet publisher - publish to thisI website

One of the ways that you can become involved in your Power Squadron is to become a contributer to the Seminole Power Squadron website. It is simple, so please share your ideas, make it exciting for others to visit and read.

Once you are a member of the Seminole Power Squadron, you can get a logon (aka, User-id) and pass word that will enable you to "login" to the Seminole Power Suqdron website. Once you have logged-on, you will find some new options open to you (as an authorised user), and you get a special User Menu.

This User Menu gives you the ability to change your details (contact information, password etc), the ability to Submit News (which is the way I am writing this communication), and the ability to Submit a Weblink

Any submission that supports the purposes of the Power Squadron is acceptable. Photos can be included  (I think)

Give it a try !!  Become a publisher on the internet. Share your experiences, your fun, your boating activities..
