Welcome  to our web page,

The Seminole Power Squadron (SPS) is a unit of United States Power Squadrons ® Sail and Power Boating organization (USPS).  We are part of District 23 of the USPS. We are located in the beautiful, waterful, Seminole County in Central Florida (between Orlando and Daytona Beach), and are privileged to be at home in one of the most beautiful spots in Florida.

We at the Seminole Power Squadron (SPS) are members of a fraternal boating organization who enjoy boating activities, giving back to the community and continuing our education (in relation to safe boating). Our striving to give back to the community is in direct support to the goals of District 23 and the USPS organization as a whole.

Who are we ?
Written by Webmaster

Organized in 1914, USPS is a non profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects.  In 2004 we celebrated 90 years of helping promote safe-boating, offering education and civil service, and boating together. Image Our members are boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safeboating through education. We enjoy participating with our fellow members on the water and in the classroom. The USPS has some 60,000 members organized into 450 squadrons across the country and in some US territories. USPS is the world's largest non-profit boating organization and has been honored by three US presidents for its civic contributions. We promote safe boating thru Education, voluntary and free Vessel Safety Inspections for the public, Civic Service and practical hands-on experience as part of the Fraternal Boating Club.

To schedule an inspection, please contact any member of the bridge and we shall see what we can do to facilitate your request.

Arrange your inspection today, and you can proudly display your 2007 VSC decal Image
